2 St Peters Square, Manchester

SCS Contract Scope:

SCS are currently working on Two St. Peter’s Square as part of the new vision for the Square. It offers 5,203 sq ft of retail space and 161,065 sq ft of high quality, BREEAM ‘Excellent’ Grade A office space across 12 floors.

SCS have been assigned packages SFS, Partitions and Suspended Ceilings on the Project.

The Embankment, Greengates, Manchester

SCS Contract Scope:

We are currently working on the historic Exchange Station site in the heart of Manchester which is currently being redeveloped to form 10 floors of office space (330,000 sq ft).

SCS have been assigned to complete Partitions, Drylining and Suspended Ceilings throughout the development.

3 St Pauls Place, Sheffield

SCS Contract Scope:

The 10-storey 3 St Paul’s Place project is the final part of the £130m Heart of the City project.

The £20m office building has been developed by CTP and Development Securities with Sheffield City Council, which helped to secure European regional development funding.

With spectacular views over the renowned Peace Gardens and Millennium Square.

One St Peter's Square

SCS Contract Scope:

The award of the £65 million, 273,000 ft sq commercial scheme, continues Main Contractor Carillion’s association with property developer Argent. Set in central Manchester, and located on the site formerly occupied by Elisabeth House, One St Peters Square (OSPS) is currently being redeveloped as a 13 storey office and retail/restaurant building.

A pre-let for 63,000 sq ft to take floors 11-13 has been agreed with accountancy firm KPMG. The remaining 210,000 sq ft floor area is to be let as grade A office space.

SCS have been assigned by key client Carillion to complete perimeter column linings, core area works including lift lobby corridors, GRG troughs, metal frame plasterboard ceilings and bulkheads, and perforated metal suspended ceilings.

Sustainable development, local job creation and supporting local community projects were paramount to Argent’s requirements on the scheme. SCS committed to provide 3 apprentice and training opportunities, significantly contributing towards Carillion’s target of 14 placements.

The city central location had numerous logistical barriers, which were overcome through meticulous planning and commitment through all aspects of the supply chain.

SCS and Carillion are currently in discussion regarding the fit out of the lower 10 floors.

D Campus - Sheffields Media Centre

SCS Contract Scope:

Sheffield’s ‘new media’ businesses are growing faster than in any other UK city. The landmark Digital Campus, was designed to bring 5,000 of the city’s creative and digital professionals together and create a state-of-the-art industry hub.

SCS Group were hand-picked to create a solution that would underline the modern design of the development and fulfill the project’s pressing cost and timescale requirements.

Bridgewater Place – Leeds

SCS Contract Scope:

The SCS Group successfully installed 23,000m2 of SAS System 150 metal ceilings and over 1100m2 of Luxalon aluminium external canopies in this high-tech, high profile office development.

Wellington Place - Leeds

SCS Contract Scope:

As a showcase for the proposed new 2.7million sq ft business, leisure and retail quarter, No.2 Wellington Place combined cutting-edge design and materials, with locally sourced stone and brick.

Our team’s challenge was to install sustainable high tech ceilings that complemented the building’s modern modular design, granted easy access and fulfilled the architect’s vision for sleek, modern features and cove lighting.

Arlington Centre

SCS Contract Scope:

As part of the ongoing development and refurbishment of this premium office space, the SCS Group were chosen to install 20,000m2 Armstrong Orcal metal ceilings, plasterboard bulkheads and fire & acoustic barriers.

We were also responsible for partitioning, drylining and the fitting of Burgess external canopies.
