Below, you’ll find testimonials from our clients on our most recent achievements:
I would like to confirm that SCS management worked in a proactive way with the LOR team on the Alder Hey Children's Hospital Project. From the outset the team played an integral part in the challenge to build the fastest hospital in the UK.
Working with LOR, CHT and our other key subcontractors Mark and the team were able to achieve a fit out rate of over 700m² per week. This was only possible through the open approach that existed between LOR, CHT and SCS enabling integrated working and solutions to be worked without delay.
I will look forward to working with the team again in the future.

Alder Hey Childrens Health Park Project
As you will be aware LDHQ was successfully handed over to our client on the 7th April 2014.
The building has been completed to a "good "standard, being well received by the end user; West Yorkshire Police who have now progressively brought the building into use such that it functions very much as a "Police Station".
The project can only be described by using such words as complex, challenging and restricted, combinations of which can be applied to almost any subject area.
Therefore on behalf of Interserve I would like to thank all at SCS for their input, commitment and hard work throughout the project in working with ourselves to produce a quality building that will serve the local community for many years to come. Please pass on particular thanks to Dave Millard for his "whole project view and commitment" throughout his time on site with our team.
Services, maintenance, building
Following the successful centre opening last week I felt it only right to write and personally thank SCS for your monumental efforts on the project.
You have played a key role through the construction, unit handovers and not least in the run-in to opening - your guys were working right up to the wire on additional last minute items. All this has been done in the spirit of collaboration and with a sense of pride.
I would in particular single out Dave Millard as a key individual on the project, someone we could turn to and count on when faced with a challenge (and there were a few!).
I hadn't worked with SCS before Trinity but would happily recommend you for any future project.
Laing O'Rourke Construction North
As you are no doubt aware, the main building at Birley Fields (Section 6 of the main contract) achieved Sectional Completion on 18'' July 2014, along with Partial Possession of a good proportion of the public realm works (Section 5). This in effect was 3 weeks early, & has allowed the University to commence moving staff into the building & preparing for the new academic year in a structured fashion.
The building has been well received by those looking on from the outside, but more importantly, by an exceptionally delighted Client & the users of the building who have been full of praise for the quality of the finished building & the way in which it has been delivered.
This doesn't happen by accident, & is testament to the effort placed into the project by all who worked on it.
A little belatedly perhaps, I am writing to you to congratulate your company on the efforts over the past 12 months in helping us to achieve a successful conclusion to this landmark project.
It is perhaps unfair to single out individuals, but I would particularly like to thank your site managers Nick McDowell & Kevin Carthy for the professional manner in which they led the construction team, their approach to our collaborative planning initiative, and the manner in which they were willing to solve the numerous challenges of this project. They were ably supported by your Contracts Manager Trevor Watson.
The finished product is of an excellent quality and the whole building is one that we should all be proud of.
It simply remains for you to ensure that any outstanding completion works are dealt with as promptly as possible so that there is no lingering defects work.
I look forward to working with you again on any future projects. Please pass on my thanks to the whole of your team involved.
