Kates Bike Ride
SCS undertook a Bike Ride from Liverpool - Leeds and back again on the 22nd July 2020 in aid of a close friend and colleague, Kate Hutchinson.
We managed to raise over £22,000 which Kate and her family decided to invest in a Camper Van to spend some precious time together, before sadly passing away in the October.

"Willow is the only national charity working with seriously ill -16 to 40 year olds to fulfil uplifting and unforgettable Special Days. Days which help to create a positive
experience at a time when it's most needed."

Our Curtis Ingleby is raising money for the Charity 'Mind in Salford UK', read his story below: -
"On the 24th of December (Christmas eve) I am doing a charity run with 2 friends from Salford to Goodison football ground (Liverpool) its roughly 28 miles.
I am running on behalf of a charity called ‘Mind in Salford UK’ this is a local charity to me that helps people with their mental health, I know this is always an important subject but even more so over the coronavirus period where charities like this have been stretched massively.
If anyone has a couple minutes to take a look at my just giving page and any donation would be massively appreciated."

The organisation is named after Tommy Sale a local legend in Leigh who was a teacher, rugby player and an integral part of the professional rugby club and amateur clubs in the town.
The purpose of the organisation is to offer local school leavers a sporting and educational pathway to life in general. Working alongside Wigan and Leigh College and with the support of the community and businesses. With this structure we look to ensure that the educational or vocational aspirations of students in the area is not sacrificed in the pursuit of their sporting ambition. We work closely with Leigh Centurions RLFC who also support the organisation with the use of facilities, training equipment, coaching etc in our works out in the local community schools and amateur sporting clubs.
